SOFTWARE ENGINEER III

BTS Software Solutions is seeking an individual to fill the role of Software Engineer III located in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Clearance: TS/SCI w FS Poly

Position Summary:

This position will support the Special Projects team and utilize a strong background in software and systems engineering to help develop custom mission solutions.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• Twenty (20) years of experience as a SWE in program and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Logical and physical diagrams (e.g. UML, etc.,),
• Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
• Troubleshooting
• Network protocols
• Full-stack development
• Systems and Software engineering
• UI design
• Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD) architecture
• Full lifecycle software development
• Design and development of:
  • Data models
  • Metrics analysis
  • User interfaces
  • Python modules, scripts, applications
  • Java-based applications
  • PHP-based applications
  • Unit tests
  • Build framework
  • Strong object-oriented concepts
  • Depth and breadth understanding of process and software quality
  • Script development
  • Small - medium applications, utilities, and libraries
  • Custom software solutions
  • System of systems solutions
  • Splunk based solutions (advanced)
