BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Technical Writer 2 with an active TS/SCI w/ POLY to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD

What You'll Get To Do:

The selected candidate will work on a team providing technical writing support for an enterprise Electronic Records Management Services (RMS). Primary responsibilities will be preparing and maintaining operations documentation, status reports and other technical publications. Additional responsibilities include managing the Jira project, scheduling, coordination with the team and the customer for outages and other project updates. A successful candidate will be comfortable working in a team environment, collaborating with vendors and having frequent interaction with customers.

Desired Skills:

Familiarity with agile development methodologies
Knowledge of 508 requirement and an interest in learning how to perform 508 testing
Experience as a technical writer on a team using a COTS technology

Education/Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in technical discipline and six (6) years of experience as a technical writer is required. Ten (10) years' experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
  Proficient in MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)
  Proficient with Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
