DoD SKILLBRIDGE INTERN (SIGINT/CYBER Professionals)
The BTS team is looking for motivated entry-level Skillbridge candidates who enjoy learning new skills, works well with a team, grasps concepts and processes, has a passion for individual development, and is willing to dive into problems that impact a program’s success. In this role, successful candidates will be responsible for partner coordination on varies topics related to program management (finance, contracting, HR, recruiting, training, and personnel placement. The Assistant Program Manager internship will assist in addressing issues at the tactical, operational, and strategic level to ensure success of the program, satisfaction of clients and partners, and to meet the goals of the program outlined by the statements of work and contract. The ultimate goal is to prepare transitioning military personnel for Defense Contracting billable positions on one of the various funded contracts that support Intelligence/cyber operations worldwide.
Primary Locations: Ft Meade, MD; Joint Base San Antonio, TX; Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD; Andrews AFB, and Silver Spring, MD
What You’ll Get to Do:
Our BTS Defense Contracting Internship in Assistant Program Management is an entry level role that is critical to growing our company and workforce while grasping an understanding of contracting operations in preparation for starting in a contract billable position. The position aligns with our Program Management Operations (PMO) Teams to enable the SkillBridge individual to develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities, to grow an understanding of the Assistant Program Manager role on a defense contract. The candidate will learn from BTS Subject Matter Experts across functional areas to grasp operational knowledge of Defense Contract management.
Qualifications You'll Bring:
Targeted MOS's
Individuals with 6 years+ operational experience with no degree, Individuals with 4 years+ operational experience with an associate degree, and Individuals with 2 years+ operational experience with a bachelor's degree. Technical degrees/military training and DOD 8570 certifications are a plus. We will review resumes of all candidates pursuing skillbridge opportunities that have been through the pre-publication process. BTS will determine if the candidate is a good fit and if we have the potential to employ the candidate upon transition.
