TECHNICIAN I

BTS Software Solutions is seeking an individual to fill the role of Technician I located in Annapolis Junction, MD.

POSITION AVAILABLE UPON CONTRACT AWARD

Clearance: TS/SCI

What You'll Get To Do:

• Manage, troubleshot and repair multiple wireless technologies including fiber optic transmission switches.
• Install peripherals including printers, fax machines, scanners, and smartphones.
• Design, set up, implementation, and troubleshooting information technology infrastructure and network components.
• Provide system diagnosis and troubleshooting to the component level via both manual and automate test equipment generate reports.
• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
• Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
• Fabricate components, perform equipment rack designs and installations, as required.
• Document processes.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• BA/BS and 0-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Four years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
• Works under general supervision; typically reports to a team lead.
