BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support operations in their Columbia, MD Headquarters Office (10960 Grantchester Way, Suite 550, Columbia, MD 21044).

The main responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing monthly and ad-hoc financial reporting packages, to include the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and the Statement of Cash Flows. These financial packages may also include financial analyses and reports, such as Accounts Receivable Aging, Accounts Payable Aging, Statement of Indirect Rates, Project Status Reports, Contract Backlog, Waterfall, Pipeline, etc.
• Developing and maintaining a robust forecasting and budgeting model, to include forecasting out the various traditional financial statements and creating models that can be easily updated for scenario planning.
• Forecasting indirect rate calculations and calculating projected rate variances.
• Performing trend analysis and identifying and explaining variances that fall outside of average trends.
• Coordinating with the team on bimonthly cash flow forecasting to ensure it reconciles to the monthly financial statement forecast.
• Performing profitability analyses at various reporting levels and assisting with determinations regarding candidate salary ranges.
• Assisting with applicable bank reporting requirements and analyses.
• Analyzing current accruals and determining if sufficient or if adjustments are appropriate.
• Maintaining a positive, collaborative attitude, and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed and as the company grows.

Primary Location: Columbia, MD Headquarters Office (10960 Grantchester Way, Suite 550, Columbia, MD 21044)

Secondary Locations: Remote/Work from Home

Clearance Requirement: Not required, but beneficial.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar field deemed relevant to role.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in government contracting within accounting and financial reporting roles.
• Must have knowledge of DCAA compliance requirements and indirect cost rate structures.
• Experience with developing financial reports, analyses, forecasts, and budgets.
• Advanced Excel skills are necessary for this role.
• Unanet experience preferred.
• Must be a team player, collaborative, and eager to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Must be detail-oriented and a skilled communicator, with the ability to explain and support their developed reports and analyses.

Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $110,000.00
